Happy Easter!

Getting Ready for Easter...

 The kids LOVE love love to color eggs!

 Levi thought the eggs were really cool- but was more interested in throwing them like little mini footballs instead of actually coloring them!

 So instead of letting him throw the real ones, we got out the basket of plastic ones to play with.

 Beautiful eggs!

 When I was little my mom always helped us make new homemade baskets out of poster-board and stickers and we got to color a new one every year. I always thought they were so cool!

As you can see... the tradition continues!

Design Center...

Having a house built has been quite the experience. It was fun to pick out a lot... watch the foundation going up... and most recently to go into their design center and select all of our building materials, paint colors and finishings. It is also a bit daunting as there are so many things to choose from and it can get really pricey. (I had no idea that their were over 30 choices for grout color!) In the end, what you are looking at on this table is a compilation of all the things we chose. Can't wait to see it full scale- in the house- when it's done.

Aaron's Art Show

We got a letter on Monday from Aaron's art teacher telling us that one of Aaron's art projects had been selected for the District Art Show. It is really kind of a cool exhibit that they set up in the District offices with samples of every schools art work. You can walk through and see all the cool things each school has done throughout the year and it really is quite the gallery.

Aaron's picture was done when they were studying the ancient Mayans and is a picture of a Mayan Warrior. So proud of him!

I love having a girl...

This is one of the many reasons why it is fun to have a girl in the house! Love her!

Dirt... AND sticks!

QUICK UPDATE...
We drove by what we are affectionately calling "our dirt" yesterday and saw that they had it all staked out in preparation for excavating. The excavating will probably happen sometime next week. It is stilll kind of hard to visualize the house, but it was fun to stand on where our front porch will be.
Who knew dirt AND sticks would be so exciting? :)
