Seth graduated from Preschool today. He had a great teacher, (just 4 houses down on our street!) Mrs. Larson. I can't wait to hear about all his adventures next year in Kindergarten. Way to go SETH!

Aaron's Driver's Permit
EEK! There's only 6 months until he's 16 and Aaron went and got his Driver's Permit today. He passed on the first try with an 84%. He's pretty excited, I'm pretty nervous, and Matt is wearing the instructor cap. Time sure flies!

Levi as George Washington
The 2nd grade class put together a Hero's Program. They sang songs and talked about different heroes throughout history and in the community. Levi was asked to dress up as George Washington. He looked great and they did a good job!

Aaron Vs. Sledding
2017 sure has started out being a wild adventure! The 2nd week in, Aaron was sledding at an activity at church and decided to go down the hill head first on a sleding saucer. At the bottom of the hill he hit a manhole cover, which catapulted him off the saucer. He slid across the snow with his face (which unfortunately was crunchy and icy because it was not fresh snow...) and collided with some chunks of ice. He rolled his arm and now has a spiral break on his left arm. He will be in a cast for about a month and we will get him rechecked.
He is healing nicely, but it really wasn't much fun seeing him bruised and broken.

Kellie's Christmas Dress
We were friends with an amazing family when we lived in Colorado. They had 4 boys and 1 daughter, Megan. It was kind of like our family, just a little bit older. Megan was the youngest and just a bit younger than Aaron. Even though Kellie was a few years younger than Megan they became friends and developed kind if a sister-ly relationship. They both understood about being the only girl in a family full of boys! When they moved, she gave Kellie her favorite dress, which no longer fit her. Today Kellie is finally big enough to wear Megan's dress. We have a happy Kellie over here! I sent a picture of her to Megan, who was pretty excited, too! I'm so glad these girls have each other, even long distance. :)
Decorating Grandma and Grandpa's tree
Now that we live closer to family, we are able to see them more and help out, too.
The kids were pretty excited about being asked to help set up Grandma and Poppa J's tree and holiday decorations.
Seth was pretty quick to snag this cute animal ornament. It has been on my parents tree for as long a I can remember. In fact, when I was little I used to try to snag it before any of my brothers or sisters could get it so that I got to be the one to hang it on the tree. Funny that my Seth did the same thing this year.
