Some kids cling to teddy bears or blankets or pacifiers- but not MY son. He couldn't be persuaded to be interested in such common items. No, my son prefers his SPATULA.
He is just tall enough to open the cupboard drawer, feel around and grab the spatula out. It truly is amazing to watch, seeing whereas he isn't even tall enough to see what he's grabbing. For what ever reason he has taken a liking to this utensil and I have found it all over my house. It's kind of like the kitchen utensil version of "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?" except it is "Where in the World has Levi hid my Spatula?"

I have found it in my bed, under his bed, in the toy bins, and in the couch cushions to name a few of his favorite hiding spots.
Today I even caught him "strumming" the spatula like most boys strum their air guitars. (I got a good laugh out of that one!)
