Daddy/Daughter Dinner & Dance

Matt and Kellie attended their 1st Daddy/Daughter Dinner & Dance tonight at church. Kellie was so excited to go and kept telling me that she "got Daddy all to herself tonight."
They had a great time, although Kellie refused to dance with Matt. Apparently this was a trend with a couple of the girls because she was not the only one! Matt and a couple of the other dads became "wallflowers", but watched the girls have a good time. anyway.
She wouldn't dance with Matt, but she did agree to dance with one of her sweet little friends, Sydney. (Matt said the pictures are a little blurry because there was  "a whole lot of twirling going on.")

Oh Julie I love all your new posts. Seth is adorable and just looks like the rest of you. The picture below of your husband and Seth in the brown chair makes me think he looks like your husband.

I love this daddy daughter dance and might steal the idea for my activity day girls. What that primary activity or what???

PS way to be with the fall decorations. You are so on top of it having so many Birthdays and a baby and school starting. Holy Cow you are Super Mom! Seriously you amaze me!

Thanks for the sweet comments!
The Daddy/Daughter activity was actually a Ward Activity that the YW and their leaders were in charge of organizing. It was for all girls up to 18 years old , and their Dads. It could be adapted for your Activity Day girls, on a smaller scale though.Let me know if you try it- I know that Kellie loved it!
