Sometimes things don't go exactly as we plan. Last week, we had several days where nothing seemed to go right. In some ways, I would love to scratch last week off the calendar, and start over. But since I can't do that, I've decided not to focus on negative events and look at all that we as a family have learned and accomplished.
Matt is back at work with all the craziness and stress that happen when the students report back. The good news (?) is that at least he's busy.
Aaron is learning all about first grade, when it's time to work and when it's time to talk, and how much fun recess really is.
Caleb is enjoying being the biggest kid at home. (I'm reminding him not to bully...)
Kellie is learning about time out, and how much fun it is to be OUT of time out.
All 3 kids have their chores outlined- and (suprisingly)are actually doing them!
I planned and executed an activity that helped our ward create over sixty 72 Hour Food Kits and First Aid Kits, and we finished it. (even if quarters did get a little cramped.)
We all learned to smile even when we feel like crying.
